Transfer Talk: Spanish duo on Liverpool's radar
Wolves winger Adama Traore is a surprise target for Liverpool.
The Reds have made an enquiry about the flying Spaniard as they look to strengthen this summer.
Traore, 25, has two years left on his deal at Molineux and Wolves would be prepared to sell him after he turned down an improved contract in March.
Football Insider say the Reds were interested in him last summer, only to then opt for his former Wolves team-mate Diogo Jota instead.
But Jurgen Klopp wants to add an attacker who can play on both flanks and carry the ball well as they look to regain their title back from Manchester City.
Traore certainly ticks those boxes, even if he has been inconsistent for Wolves over the past few seasons.
In 103 appearances since swapping Middlesbrough for the Black Country in 2018, Traore has netted seven goals and set up a further 17.
Better call Saul
Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez is another player tipped to move to Liverpool ahead of the new season.
Saul, 26, is one of a number of contenders to replace Gini Wijnaldum in the Reds’ midfield after the Dutchman’s departure.
AS report the Spaniard has a £150million release clause in his contract, yet Atleti would now be willing to accept significantly less than that.
It first became apparent that Saul wanted to leave the Spanish capital in March with his appearances limited in their LaLiga title-winning season.
While Bayern Munich were linked with a move, it is thought that the midfielder wants to test himself in the Premier League.
Although his playing style is different to that of Wijnaldum, the prospect of doing a deal for just £40m will further entice the Reds to make a move.
