Ange Postecoglou will be hoping the dramatic draw at Manchester City can re-ignite Spurs season.

- Both teams have scored in Tottenham’s last five league matches
- Both teams have scored in 12 of West Ham’s 14 league fixtures
- Recommended Bet: Tottenham win & both to score

Tottenham have gone four games without a win in the Premier League but they should be feeling pretty confident about matters after Sunday’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad.

Spurs were unbeaten after their opening ten league games, winning on eight occasions, until injuries and suspensions started to take their toll.

Three straight defeats followed but Ange Postecoglou’s side deserve plenty of praise for their performance at champions City, where Dejan Kulusevski rescued a point with his injury-time header.

So Spurs will be keen to build on that and hit back against London rivals West Ham, who have taken seven points from their last three matches.

Team news

Spurs remain much weaker than they would like with James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Ivan Perisic, Manuel Solomon, Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon and Alfie Whiteman sidelined.

Eric Dier and Pape Matar Sarr are both doubts but Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero have recently returned from suspension.

There is less concern on the injury front for West Ham with Michail Antonio the only confirmed absentee for the visitors.

The stats

Despite picking up only one point from their last four league outings, Tottenham have won eight of their opening 14 matches.

Spurs have won four of their six home league outings, which includes accounting for Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, clean sheets have been hard to come by and both teams have scored in ten of those 14 top-flight fixtures.

Spurs are unbeaten in four meetings between the sides, winning on three occasions.

West Ham are unbeaten in three league matches, having taken seven points during that period.

However the Hammers have lost three of their last four on the road, conceding four in defeat at Aston Villa and three away at Liverpool and Brentford.

David Moyes’s side have kept only one clean sheet in 14 league games this season, with both teams scoring in 12 of those assignments.

David Moyes' West Ham have only managed to keep clean sheets in two of their 14 Premier League games this season.

Prediction

Tottenham snapped a three-game losing streak with a hard-fought point at Manchester City on Sunday, earning a 3-3 draw thanks to a strong second-half display.

Spurs are still missing a lot of first-team talent, most notably at centre-back with Van de Ven out injured and in the final third without Maddison’s creativity.

However, having Bissouma and Romero back from suspension is a boost and the manner of their performance at the Etihad suggests they could get back on track against West Ham.

The Hammers are in decent touch but they have profited from a soft schedule and they have lost three of their last four Premier League games on their travels.

Defensively, there is plenty left to be desired with West Ham’s only clean sheet of the campaign coming in a 2-0 win at home to basement boys Sheffield United.

However, they have scored in 13 of their 14 league games and it promises to be an entertaining encounter with Spurs, who have seen both teams score in nine of their last 11.
