Tommy Conway is eager to take more Premier League scalps after scoring the winner in Bristol City's 1-0 FA Cup victory over West Ham.

The Robins secured progress from the third round replay thanks to Conway's first-half strike.

And the forward, who also netted in the 1-1 draw at the London Stadium nine days ago, does not want his side to stop there.

He told BBC Sport: "Obviously the goal at their place and to get the winner today is an unbelievable feeling in front of our sell-out crowd.

"We started the game really quick and that's always the message.

"It's what we dream of. It's a really good feeling. Obviously it's a dream to play against Premier League sides. Hopefully we can do that in the near future more often."

City could host top-flight opposition again in the next round, with the winner of the replay between Blackpool and Premier League strugglers Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening due at Ashton Gate on the last weekend of January.

And Conway hopes a cup run can inspire more famous days for his childhood club.

He said: "I've been coming here since I was seven and to see the stadium like this today, I can't really put it into words.

"The atmosphere was unbelievable, the best I've seen in a long time. Hopefully they can keep coming out in their numbers.

"Now we have to rest and recover for the next game here on Saturday."

Liam Manning's side host Watford at Ashton Gate on Saturday, while West Ham travel to Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday.
