- Six of Sheffield United's last eight home matches have featured over 3.5 goals
- Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has scored seven goals in his last five league appearances
- Recommended bet:
Bukayo Saka to score two or more goals

Arsenal thrashed Sheffield United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium in October and the Gunners head into Monday's return fixture in magnificent goalscoring form.

A six-match winning streak has rekindled Arsenal's title challenge and they thumped West Ham 6-0 and Burnley 5-0 in their last two away fixtures in the league.

Those results do not bode well for the Blades' chances of claiming a shock win and the bottom club have been beaten 5-0 by Aston Villa and Brighton in their last two outings at Bramall Lane.

Team news

United's Ben Brereton Diaz and George Baldock are fit again, but Mason Holgate is still suspended following his red card against Brighton.

Cameron Archer, Anis Slimane, John Egan, Chris Basham, Max Lowe, Rhys Norrington-Davies and Daniel Jebbison remain sidelined.

Arsenal are hopeful that Thomas Partey will return to the squad after a hamstring injury.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oleksandr Zinchenko will be assessed and Jurrien Timber (knee) is back in training but not ready for a return to action.

The stats

United have lost their last three home games by 5-2, 5-0 and 5-0 scorelines, while six of the Blades' last eight home matches in all competitions have featured over 3.5 goals

They have been trailing at half-time and full-time in five of their last eight league matches.

Arsenal have won their last six Premier League matches and the Gunners have scored 13 goals in their last three away league games.

Bukayo Saka has scored seven goals in his last five league appearances.

Chris Wilder has seen his Sheffield United side ship goals in losing four of their last five league games.

Prediction

Arsenal's comprehensive 4-1 victory over Newcastle last time out took their goal tally to 25 in their last six Premier League matches and they should be too slick for struggling Sheff Utd.

The Blades have lost their last two home games by a 5-0 scoreline and they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Brighton, who won 5-2 at Bramall Lane in January.

Since Christmas, United have conceded 20 goals in just five home league and cup matches and the odds about Arsenal's Bukayo Saka scoring two or more goals on Monday are tempting.

Saka, like so many of his team-mates, has looked rejuvenated in recent weeks, scoring seven goals in his last five league outings.

That hot streak includes braces in the away routs of West Ham and Burnley and the England international has racked up 38 shots at goal in just eight league appearances since Christmas.

Saka is Arsenal's first-choice penalty-taker, which is another positive factor for this bet given that the Blades have conceded three spot-kicks in their last four matches in all competitions.
