Mikel Arteta has already secured top spot in the group for Arsenal

- 10 of PSV's last 14 Eredivisie games have had over 3.5 goals
- Both teams have scored in nine of Arsenal's last 10 Champions League away games
- Recommended bet: Over 3.5 Goals

Arsenal sealed top spot in Champions League Group B in style with a 6-0 rout of Lens at the Emirates Stadium on matchday five.

After Saturday's 1-0 Premier League defeat at Aston Villa, and with a busy festive schedule of fixtures to come, Mikel Arteta is likely to make changes for the final group game at PSV.

The Dutch giants were brushed aside 4-0 in north London on matchday one but they have been in cracking form since then and booked their place in the last 16 with a thrilling 3-2 win away to Sevilla on matchday five.

Team news

PSV midfielder Joey Veerman returned to action in last week's win over Heerenveen on Thursday but Jordan Teze, Armel Bella-Kotchap, Noa Lang and Hirving Lozano are likely to miss out again.

Ricardo Pepi is pushing for a start in attack after scoring as a substitute against Sevilla and Heerenveen.

Arsenal are likely to rest some of their first-team regulars with top spot in the group already wrapped up.

Takehiro Tomiyasu, Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe and Fabio Vieira are sidelined and Jurrien Timber (knee) is unlikely to feature again this season.

The stats

PSV have won their last eight matches in all competitions.

There have been over 3.5 goals in 10 of PSV's last 14 Eredivisie games.

Six of the Dutch club's seven goals in Group B have come in the second half of matches.

Arsenal have been leading at half-time and full-time in four of their five Champions League matches.

Prediction

With Arsenal guaranteed top spot in Group B and PSV locked in as runners-up, there is little to play for on Tuesday but the Dutch will be determined to avenge their opening rout at the Emirates.

PSV were cut apart by the Gunners on matchday one as first-half goals from Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus set up a 4-0 win.

Arteta's men can expect a tougher test on their trip to the Netherlands and over 3.5 goals looks the best bet in a game in which both teams can play with freedom.

Some of the Gunners' fringe players will be eager to impress their boss, while PSV are aiming to extend their winning streak in all competitions to nine matches.

Peter Bosz's side came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in Sevilla, having drawn 2-2 at home against the Spanish side on matchday two.

They have been in stunning form in the Eredivisie this season, winning all 15 of their matches and averaging 3.47 goals per game.

PSV's last six league outings include away wins at second-placed Feyenoord and fourth-placed Twente as well as a 5-2 home victory over Ajax and another lively contest is expected at the Philips Stadium on Tuesday.
