Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag will be eying a return to winning ways against Everton on Saturday

It is a case of quality, not quantity, for the Premier League on Saturday, with just five games on the agenda after a busy midweek of European action.

Here are our experts' selections for the day's matches.

Manchester United vs Everton (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Back-to-back Premier League defeats to Fulham and fierce rivals Manchester City have left Manchester United's top-four hopes hanging by a thread but they are tipped to grab a victory against Everton.

The Toffees have not won in the Premier League since the middle of December, most recently going down to West Ham, and have lost the pair's last four meetings.

Bournemouth vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Another defeat could beckon for Chris Wilder and Sheffield United

Sheffield United's current plight hints that they may already be planning for a return to the Championship, with Chris Wilder revealing on Friday that he is due to meet the club's owners next week to discuss the Blades' strategy.

They are 11 points from safety following Monday's 6-0 defeat to Arsenal and next face a tricky trip to Bournemouth.

The Cherries have lost just three of their last eight games and while they have a doubt over striker Dominic Solanke, who has scored 14 goals in 26 league games, they should have enough to win with something to spare.

Crystal Palace vs Luton (Saturday, 3pm)

Crystal Palace have scored three goals in three of their last four home league games and the early signs under new boss Oliver Glasner, who replaced Roy Hodgson on February 19, are good.

Luton have lost their last four and have conceded 16 times in their last five matches.

The last three league fixtures at Selhurst Park have all produced at least three goals so it is worth looking at more of the same on Saturday.

Wolves vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Wolves lost their last outing 3-0 at Newcastle but have been generally strong on their home turf of Molineux, winning six times and losing just twice.

They host a Fulham side who have recorded recent wins over Brighton and Manchester United and won November's reverse match 3-2.

Both teams have scored in nine of Wolves' 13 home league games this term, while just three of Fulham's last 16 league encounters have failed to produce three or more goals.

Arsenal vs Brentford (Saturday 5.30pm)

Arsenal have set the standard in 2024, winning seven games from as many outings in the Premier League, most recently bashing the Blades at Bramall Lane.

They take on London rivals Brentford, who have lost seven of their last eight away in the league and may struggle at the Emirates.

A player to look for could be Arsenal's Declan Rice. The England man has scored or assisted five times across his last four league matches and is clearly enjoying his football.
