A reduced Premier League fixture list throws up a couple of enormous games at the bottom of the table.

Burnley take on Brentford at Turf Moor while 18th plays 17th at Kenilworth Road as Luton host Nottingham Forest.

The battle for the Champions League also continues with Aston Villa and Tottenham both in action.

We preview each of the four top-flight games taking place this weekend.

Burnley vs Brentford (Saturday, 3pm)

Burnley are winless in 11 matches in all competitions since beating Fulham in December and may view this game as one last chance to give themselves a shot at survival.

The Clarets are 10 points off safety but could still be offered a lifeline by points deductions for Everton and Forest, so they should continue to fight.

Brentford have won just three of their last 17 Premier League games, losing more matches than any other side since Matchday 12.

But they can field in-form striker Yoane Wissa, who has scored in his last three appearances.

In another crucial game at the bottom, Luton can leapfrog Forest out of the relegation zone by beating them on home soil.

However, the Hatters have lost six of their last eight league home games, including the previous three in a row, and will be wounded by Wednesday's 4-3 defeat at Bournemouth.

Forest have suffered three Premier League defeats on the spin but manager Nuno Espirito Santo will be comforted by the fact he has never lost four on the bounce in this competition.

And Tricky Trees striker Chris Wood is one goal away from his 150th in English league football.

Fulham vs Tottenham (Saturday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports)

Tottenham are back in the driver's seat for fourth spot after thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 last Sunday.

And they can reinforce that advantage by winning back-to-back away league games for the first time since October.

Spurs have won each of their last seven matches at Fulham in the Premier League, their joint-longest run of away wins against an opponent.

But they will have to stop in-form striker Rodrigo Muniz, who has scored five goals and assisted one in his last six top-flight outings.

West Ham vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2pm)

West Ham are aiming to extend an eight-match unbeaten top-flight home run against Aston Villa, last losing this fixture under Avram Grant in April 2011.

Villa are in fine form on the road, though, winning each of their last three league away games by an aggregate score of 10-3.

Striker Ollie Watkins has scored a brace in the last two of those outings and would become the third player in the history of the Premier League to score multiple goals in three straight road trips should he repeat the trick here.

Dennis Bergkamp and Harry Kane are the only two forwards to have completed that particular feat.
