After an FA Cup break, top-flight league football returns this weekend with some huge games at both the top and bottom ends of the table.

In the first of a new weekly Premier League treble column, we have come up with an acca that would provide massive £3570 return from a £10 stake if successful.

Saturday, 3pm

Just one point separates Brighton and Liverpool going into Saturday's clash at the Amex Stadium, with the hosts looking to leapfrog their opponents.

The Seagulls are going for a Merseyside double, after a 4-1 win at Everton last weekend, although their home form has been patchy in recent times.

Roberto De Zerbi's men have lost three, drawn one and won one of their last five home fixtures — conceding eight goals during that time.

One key stat though is that Brighton have scored the first goal in five of the last six games, whilst Liverpool have conceded first in four of their last five in all competitions.

With Leandro Trossard missing out due to a disciplinary breach, the Seagulls will look to Alexis Mac Allister to provide their spark — the World Cup winner bagging twice on his return to club action last weekend.

Saturday, 3pm

There is likely to be more pressure on Saturday's game at Goodison Park than anywhere else in the Premier League this weekend, with both Everton and Southampton stuck in the bottom three.

The Toffees go into this clash with just one win in their last 10 Premier League games and off the back of a home thumping from Brighton.

Although Southampton sit bottom, the mood in their camp is likely to be better after back-to-back cup wins — winning 2-1 in the FA Cup at Crystal Palace, before an EFL victory over Manchester City.

Both teams have scored in each of Everton's last four competitive fixtures, while Saints have found the net in eight of their last nine matches.

Not many would have predicted at the start of the season that Newcastle and Fulham would be sitting third and sixth respectively, but both teams have defied expectations and are looking up the table rather than down.

The Geordies have the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 11 goals in 18 games and keeping six Premier League clean sheets at St James' Park.

In fact, Eddie Howe's men are unbeaten on home soil with five wins and four draws, as they look to extend their unbeaten league run to 14 games.

Fulham have been another surprise package this term, with Thursday's win over Chelsea making it 31 points from 19 games and four wins on the bounce.

The Cottagers though have a poor recent record against Newcastle, failing to win any of their last five meetings, a run that includes a 4-1 defeat at Craven Cottage earlier in the season, when they were reduced to 10 men early in the game.
