- Norwich are unbeaten in six matches at home in all competitions
- West Brom have lost two of their last eight games
- Recommended bet: Draw and both teams to score

Promotion-chasing Norwich and West Brom will meet at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon and it looks tough to split the two teams as they try to continue their push towards a return to the Premier League.

After a shaky few weeks, Norwich have steadied the ship under David Wagner, although they are still seven points behind Carlos Corberan's West Brom.

The Baggies occupy fifth spot and are five points clear of seventh-placed Sunderland.

Team news

Wagner has confirmed that centre-back Danny Batth will not feature on Saturday due to a hamstring injury, while fellow defender Grant Hanley is also unavailable for selection.

Striker Josh Sargent should lead the line after recently returning to full fitness, while Dimitrios Giannoulis is a doubt after coming off injured in last week's 2-1 success over Hull.

Forward Andreas Weimann could make his West Brom debut after recently joining on loan from Bristol City.

Jed Wallace could return to the starting XI after overcoming an injury, while Matt Phillips and Josh Maja remain long-term absentees.

Norwich are unbeaten in six matches in all competitions, winning three and drawing three, and have scored in all bar one of those contests.

The Canaries last tasted defeat at home in November, a run of six matches at Carrow Road.

After a poor run of results from the start of December, which led to just one victory in five games, West Brom have turned a corner since Christmas, winning four of their last five matches.

That run for the Baggies began with a 1-0 home win over Norwich on Boxing Day, before they beat Leeds by the same scoreline, while they have recorded 4-1 victories over Aldershot Town and Blackburn Rovers in their last two matches, having previously lost 1-0 at Swansea.

However, they have lost three of their last four on the road and failed to score in the two most recent of those games.

Prediction

This contest will feature two teams in fine form in the Championship, and a draw would not be the worst result for either side.

The Canaries have settled down at Carrow Road and made life difficult for their rivals, but West Brom's form since Christmas suggests they can give anybody in the division a tough afternoon.

Both teams have enough quality in the final third to register, and that is expected to pan out with both finding the back of the net in a score draw.
