Manchester City have revealed their new home kit for the 2023-24 season, marking 20 years since the Premier League champions moved to the Etihad Stadium.

The shirt features some iconic aspects of the ground, which the Citizens have called home since 2003 following 80 years spent at Maine Road.

On the new home jersey, there are graphics of the Etihad's unique architecture, in particular the four giant turrets.

The Puma shirt features a white V-neck collar, inspired by the first kit worn at the stadium in 2003-04.

That campaign saw Kevin Keegan's side finish 16th in the table, with Nicolas Anelka the team's top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions.

Club ambassador Shaun Wright-Phillips was part of the squad that played in the Etihad's inaugural season.

On the kit launch, he said: "The Etihad Stadium plays an important role in Manchester City's history.

"Players and fans will hold special memories of moments shared there, so it's fantastic that PUMA has taken inspiration from it for this year’s home kit.

"I'm incredibly proud to have worn the Manchester City shirt and played during that debut season at the Etihad. I hope this year's shirt brings back lots of memories for our fans, as it has for me."

All shirts are made from 100% recycled materials, excluding the trims and decorations.

A structured four-way stretch design aims to reduce weight and friction, which is intended to allow the Citizens' array of stars to move more freely.

The dryCELL technology in the fabric is also designed to keep the body free from sweat.

First-team players Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez were all involved in the launch.

Pep Guardiola's men can win a fifth league title in six seasons should results go their way this weekend, with rivals Arsenal at Nottingham Forest on Saturday before Treble-chasing City host Chelsea.

The shirt is available to pre-order from today on City's online store, retail app and in official club shops both in the UK and abroad.
