Gary O'Neil highlighted Hwang Hee-Chan's hamstring injury concern after Wolves beat Brighton 1-0 in the FA Cup.

Mario Lemina's early strike earned the Old Gold a spot in the quarter-finals where they will host Championship side Coventry.

A great evening for O'Neil was overshadowed by a potential injury to key forward Hwang after the 28-year-old went down injured in the 54th minute.

O'Neil spoke to the BBC about the situation: "Channy [Hwang] felt his hamstring a little bit which for a squad as small as this, especially in that area, is a disaster.

"But trying to pick the right ones to rest and which ones can play was a tough couple of days for us.

"Channy's doesn't look too serious, seems like a little one."

The FA Cup encounter at Molineux was a tight one with both Premier League sides having chances.

But O'Neil was thrilled with the performance overall and highlighted how well his side defended after Lemina's early opener.

The Wolves boss, 40, added: "Brighton are a really good side, the way they play, tough to get the ball back off, the lads were disciplined, we know that's how they play.

"They do take risks though, they do leave you with opportunities to counter attack and win the ball back and we did have probably equal amount of good opportunities as they did.

"Just that they had a lot of the ball and the lads had to defend and be resolute."

Wolves will be eyeing up a trip to Wembley given only Championship side Coventry now stand in their way, although O'Neil is not getting too carried away just yet.

He said: "You could get Man City away and Liverpool away, so there are tough games.

"I've seen quite a bit of Coventry and they've played some great stuff.

"To play them here in front of our fans with huge expectation on us won't be easy, definitely will not be easy."
