Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth have been on an upward trajectory over recent months

- Bournemouth have scored in 10 of their last 11 away league matches
- Fulham have conceded at least twice in seven of their last 12 league games
- Recommended bet: Bournemouth to win

Bournemouth have failed to win any of their last four Premier League matches, but Andoni Iraola’s team look a lot stronger than they did last season and they will fancy their chances of winning at Fulham.

The Cottagers beat Arsenal at home recently but that has been their only victory in their last seven league outings and they failed to hold onto a two-goal lead at struggling Burnley last week.

Team news

Raul Jimenez, Harry Wilson, Issa Diop and Adama Traore are all set to miss out for Fulham, while Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey are still at the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria.

Philip Billing is suspended, while James Hill, Tyler Adams, Ryan Fredericks and Max Aarons are also out for Bournemouth.

However, hopes are high that midfielder Ryan Christie will have recovered from a dead leg and be able to take his place in the middle of the park.

The stats

Fulham have failed to score in 10 Premier League games this season, the highest number of any team.

There have been three or more goals scored in nine of Bournemouth’s last 11 league away games and the Cherries have only drawn one blank over that period.

Fulham have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches and the Cottagers have conceded at least two goals in seven of their last 12 league outings

Prediction

Just a point separates Fulham from Bournemouth in the Premier League standings, but it may be the visitors who have the greater chance of taking all three points at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Fulham have posted some impressive results on the banks of the Thames, including a 2-1 success over title challengers Arsenal and consecutive 5-0 victories over Nottingham Forest and West Ham in early December.

However, their success over the Gunners has been their only win in their last seven games and they could be vulnerable against the rejuvenated Cherries.

Defeats to Tottenham and Liverpool put Bournemouth in their place after a string of good results, but there was enough in their most recent away outing, a 1-1 draw at West ham, to suggest they can win this weekend.

That loss at Spurs has been their only defeat in their last six away games, with wins at Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Nottingham forest suggesting a trip to Craven Cottage should not hold great fears.

They beat Marco Silva’s team 3-0 at home on Boxing Day and, as they possess one of the league’s most in-form strikers in 13-goal Dominic Solanke, they can be expected to take the points.
