Manchester City got the better of rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final last season, the second trophy in their treble, and the two teams meet once more in this year's final.

The Red Devils have endured a disappointing campaign, finishing in eighth — their worst finish since 1989-90, and they need to win this final to secure European football for next season.

Erik ten Hag will be looking to avoid a trophyless season to aid his prospects at the club, although there have been reports he will be departing after the game regardless, given their poor overall form and the recent takeover of the club.

Manchester City vs Manchester United (Saturday, 3pm)

Bet 1: Over 3.5 goals

City have turned on the style at the business end of the season as their run of nine wins in a row saw them lift the Premier League title once again.

Seven of those nine games went over 3.5 goals and this could be a similarly high-scoring affair.

Despite last season's final between the two finishing 2-1, this could be a much more open given the defensive frailties of United.

The Red Devils conceded 15 more league goals this season compared to last term, have been dealing with a plethora of injuries, particularly at the back, and their last four FA Cup ties featured 20 goals.

Take over 3.5 goals.

Bet 2: Bernardo Silva to score at any time

Bernardo Silva has been a key player throughout Pep Guardiola’s time in charge of City and has had a big say in cup ties this season.

The Portuguese midfielder has netted three times in his last two FA Cup matches and also netted twice for the Citizens in the Champions League knockout stages.

Silva has a tendency to net big goals, scoring the only goal in his team’s crucial semi-final win over Chelsea, and could do so again in this one.

Bet 3: Bruno Fernandes to be shown a card

Manchester United have struggled with their discipline this season, no one more so than Bruno Fernandes.

The Red Devils captain has been given 12 yellow cards in all competitions this season, the most of any player in the team and he looks a likely candidate to fall foul of the referee again in this game.

If frustration sets in, which it can certainly do with Fernandes, expect a fireworks display on the pitch and a potential caution.
