Tottenham’s attacking style means that they have been involved in a number of high-scoring affairs this season, both teams have scored in 16 of their last 19 league games and all of their last four matches have gone over 3.5 goals.

Everton have been involved in back-to-back goalless draws but a repeat of that looks unlikely.

Former Toffees forward Richarlison has been in fine form recently, netting seven goals in his last seven games for Spurs.

They beat Everton 2-1 just before Christmas, part of a five-game winless run for the Toffees and, with major injury issues in their midfield, that run may continue.

Spurs have shrugged off the majority of their biggest injury concerns and are enjoying the return of James Maddison to their starting line-up.

Ange Postecoglou’s side are relentless going forward, netting 47 times in 22 games and that is in sharp contrast to their hosts, who have only scored 24 in the same number of matches.

The Toffees have lost six of their 11 home games in the league and look likely to fall to another against a Tottenham forward line that has plenty of goals in it.
