The race to qualify for Euro 2024 continues at pace with another seven games to look forward to on Saturday, including a top-of-the-table clash in Group G.

Saturday, 2pm

Ukraine came from 2-0 down with half an hour to play to beat North Macedonia 3-2 in June and they can secure another victory over these opponents in the reverse fixture.

Serhiy Rebrov’s men drew 1-1 with England recently, a team that beat North Macedonia 7-0.

The home side were beaten 2-1 by Italy last time out but should be able to bounce back and secure a victory over these opponents as they are fancied to demonstrate the class difference between the two sides.

The pair, along with Italy who have played a game less, are level on seven points so victory here is crucial for either team’s chances of qualifying automatically for Euro 2024.

North Macedonia’s captain Stefan Ristovski continues to miss out after a dispute with his nation’s football federation and his absence could be key.

Expect Ukraine to record a win and move one step closer to qualification for Germany next summer.

Saturday, 5pm

Lithuania have lost 10 of their last 15 matches and that dreadful run could be set to continue when they visit Bulgaria.

The hosts have hardly been in top form themselves but picked up wins over Gibraltar, North Macedonia and Cyprus around this time last year and any replication of that form would likely see them win.

A draw with Serbia showed that Bulgaria are moving in the right direction and they can make home advantage count against these fellow strugglers.

Lithuania's last six away games all featured under 2.5 goals so don’t expect a thriller but Bulgaria should be able to edge a tight encounter.

Hungary and Serbia have become familiar foes, playing four times in the last three years.

The most recent of those meetings saw Hungary pick up an away win to go top of Group G and they are fancied to follow up at home.

The Magyars have now won five of their last seven matches and have beaten England and Germany in recent memory.

Serbia have struggled defensively recently and will not be relishing an away trip to Hungary, who are rock solid on their own patch.

Take the hosts to remain in the driving seat in the race to win this section by picking up another win.
