Plumpton is the venue for a good Sunday afternoon jumps card this week, with racing at the East Sussex course from 2.10pm through until 5.10pm for their seven-race offering.

LiveScore Five to Follow at Plumpton on Sunday

2.10pm - J H Builders Maiden Hurdle (2m1½f)

Though he was well fancied and finished only second, GALATA BRIDGE didn't do much wrong on his recent hurdles bow at Worcester for Dr Richard Newland and Sam Twiston-Davies.

The son of Golden Horn was beaten less than two lengths by London Eye, who made the most of his one previous hurdling experience and settled matters with good jumps in the closing stages while Galata Bridge was fiddly.

They were some 15 lengths clear and ran through the line strongly, so this extra yardage looks set to suit this mid-90s-rated Flat performer.

LiveScore Selection: Galata Bridge

2.40pm - Friends & Family Remembering Norman Sharpe Handicap Hurdle (2m)

Manor Park has won 4-5 starts since June, three over hurdles at Newton Abbot and at Bath on the level last month. He's clearly flying but is 10lb higher back jumping.

Glory and Fortune returns from a break needing to settle/jump better and so perhaps LEROY LEROY can bag this prize. He had figures of 2211 over hurdles last autumn before a disappointing handicap bow at Cheltenham's November Meeting (too keen, faded).

This is less daunting and he's had a recent Flat run to sharpen him up.

LiveScore Selection: Leroy Leroy

3.10pm - Peter Earl Memorial Handicap Chase (2m1f)

Consistency has become a problem for Dogon of late and so Paul Nicholls' runner comes here with a point to prove. He also faces a thriving rival in ROMANOR from the Seamus Mullins team.

He bagged successive wins at Stratford and Uttoxeter in July and then found only a rejuvenated Larch Hill too strong back at the former venue 15 days ago.

He's inched up 1lb for that but a repeat may suffice here, the front pair having stretched clear last time.

LiveScore Selection: Romanor

3.40pm - Strong Flavours Catering Juvenile Hurdle (2m1½f)

Fred Bear carries a penalty after making all in a similar contest at Stratford last month to get on the board at the fourth attempt. Similarly, the filly The Yellow Mini has an additional 7lb for winning a weak enough heat at Fontwell recently and both may need improvement now.

Nicky Henderson brings a formerly useful Flat performer in IMPULSIVE ONE for his hurdling bow in the colours of Simon Munir and Isaac Suede, well known for excelling in this sphere. He wears a hood but may be the one to come out on top here.

LiveScore Selection: Impulsive One

4.40pm - Andrew 'Super Wack' Jackson Memorial Novices' Handicap Chase (2m3½f)

Air Hair Lair cannot be knocked for consistency and should go well but he's had similar chances already and let them pass.

VALENTINE'S TURF couldn't quite get on the board over hurdles in his stint with Bernard Llewellyn but he shaped nicely and is now back in the hands of Christian Williams ready to commence a chasing career.

This is a good spot for him to start off.

LiveScore Selection: Valentine's Turf
