Carabao Cup third round draw: City host Chelsea in heavyweight clash

Manchester City's heavyweight clash with Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium is the standout tie of the Carabao Cup third round draw which features seven all-Premier League encounters.

Manchester United will host Aston Villa, Arsenal entertain Brighton, while Tottenham face a trip to Nottingham Forest.

Elsewhere, Newcastle take on Crystal Palace at St James' Park, Leeds travel to Wolves and Bournemouth clash with Everton on the South Coast.

League One Derby can look to pull of a shock result at Anfield when they meet reigning champions Liverpool, while Leicester and Brentford host League Two sides Newport County and Gillingham.

West Ham and Southampton will both also face lower-league opposition with the Hammers taking on Championship outfit Blackburn and the Saints welcoming League One promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday to St Mary's.
