- Arsenal have lost only one of their last eight meetings with Chelsea
- Nine of Chelsea's last 10 league matches have seen both teams score
- Recommended bet:
Arsenal to win and both teams to score

Chelsea will be reeling following a disappointing FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City on Saturday in which a few decisions could be deemed to have gone against them.

They will be aiming to convert that frustration into passion as they head to the Emirates for a huge London derby on Tuesday.

Arsenal bounced back from their Champions League exit with a solid 2-0 win at Wolves and they will be looking to keep their momentum going as they remain in a three-way race for the Premier League title.

The Blues are fighting to finish a poor season strongly while the Gunners are looking to keep up a title charge, suggesting the Emirates may host a thriller on Tuesday.

Team news

Jurrien Timber remains Arsenal's only absentee but Mikel Arteta could still make some changes from Saturday's win at Wolves.

Gabriel Martinelli and Jorginho were dropped to the bench at Molineux but both could return to the starting XI for this huge London derby.

Chelsea's lengthy injury list is shortening, but they will still be without Levi Colwill, Christopher Nkunku, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochuwku, Reece James and Romeo Lavia for this trip to their rivals.

Crucially, Cole Palmer is also expected to miss the game through illness.

The stats

- Arsenal have lost only one of their last eight meetings with Chelsea, winning five in that run

- The Blues are on an eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League which includes four wins

- Both teams to score has occurred in eight of the last 11 meetings between these rivals

- Nine of Chelsea's last 10 Premier League games have gone over 3.5 goals, including all of the last six

- Both teams have found the net in four of Arsenal's last six home matches

- Nine of Chelsea's last 10 league matches have seen both teams score, while the same has landed in 11 of their last 12 Premier League away games

Prediction

Arsenal may not have it all their own way against Chelsea
Arsenal may not have it all their own way against Chelsea

Arsenal reiterated their status as title contenders with a professional performance at Wolves on Saturday and they could build on that against Chelsea, who they have lost just one of their last eight meetings with.

The Gunners have won five games in that run, including a 3-1 victory in this exact fixture last season.

Given they have won 10 of their last 12 Premier League home matches in a sequence which includes triumphs over title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, Arteta's men should be backed to get the job done in Tuesday's derby.

However, it is unlikely the hosts will have things all their own way, as the Blues have found their shooting boots in recent weeks, netting 19 goals in their last six league games.

Nine of Chelsea's last 10 league matches have seen both sides find the net while the same option has landed in 11 of their last 12 away games.

The sides drew 2-2 in the reverse fixture and while home advantage may just give the Gunners the edge in this tie, backing both teams to score which has landed in eight of the last 11 meetings between the rivals could help boost the odds alongside a home win.
