Adidas have taken inspiration from a 90s classic to create their new Predator 24 boots.

The likes of England and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus and Lionesses forward Alessia Russo are some of football's biggest names who will wear the latest design.

Modelled on the first ever Predator release three decades ago, the latest look aims to unite the iconic style with the relentless performance of today to inspire the next generation of goalscorers.

They feature the famed fold-over tongue of the original alongside its classic black, red and white colourway — with a striking yellow taping giving them a new feel.

While the aesthetic of the classic design is clear to see, they have been thrust into the modern day with the lightweight design capabilities seen in adidas' more recent shoes like the Predstrike and Predator 30.

Adidas design chief Sam Handy said: "The Predator 1994 was the silhouette that started it all and there is no better way to celebrate 30 years of this game-changing franchise than to revisit its early beginnings.

"It was designed in a very different time and with different methods that we deploy today.

"And this became our creative challenge. If the Predator 1994 was designed today, for today's athlete, what would it look like?

"The answer is Predator 24. A modern-day expression of Predator, with the same eye-catching design DNA that made the original so iconic and instantly recognisable on the feet of the game's greatest.

"We're incredibly excited to continue the story of this beloved boot and can't wait to see players creating their own goal-scoring legacies while wearing them."

The Predator 24 boots are available to buy now in adidas stores and online.
