Gefangene Wickets. OUT! Caught. Sahan Arachchige to Nasum Ahmed. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the front foot slog sweeping, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on, caught by Bandara. In a disappointing run chase, Bangladesh crumbled to 102 all out in just 17.3 overs, falling short of Sri Lanka's target of 166 runs. The batting lineup struggled from the outset, with star performers like Saif Hassan and Litton Das dismissed for ducks, putting tremendous pressure on the team. Parvez Hossain Emon's 20 and Nasum Ahmed's 26 offered some resistance, but wickets tumbled regularly. Nuwan Thushara and Tharindu Rathnayake were instrumental with the ball, each taking two wickets and wreaking havoc on the Bangladeshi batting order. Ultimately, Sri Lanka's bowlers dominated the match, securing a comfortable victory and clinching the bronze medal.
