- Andorra have lost both of their matches in the group
- Recommended bet:
England to score over 3.5 goals

England should extend their winning start in World Cup qualifying Group K to three games and they can do so in style against Andorra on Saturday in Spain.

Thomas Tuchel is set to make it three victories from three in what has been a comfortable introduction to the Three Lions job since the German was appointed at the start of the year.

Saturday's game is being played at the RCDE Stadium — the home of Espanyol in Barcelona, Spain — with Andorra's national stadium unavailable.

Team news

Tuchel will likely make several changes from the side that beat Latvia 3-0 in his second game in charge and he may give plenty of minutes to different members of his squad.

Skipper Harry Kane, along with Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, all look set to start, while the recalled Ivan Toney will also hope to feature.

However, Marcus Rashford, Jarrod Bowen, Phil Foden, Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw were among the well-known stars not named in the squad.

Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah has received his first call-up and could come on as a sub at some point for his debut, while experienced pair Jordan Henderson and Kyle Walker may also be given run-outs.

Andorra have named a 23-man squad for the clash with captain Moises San Nicolas again set to start at centre-back.

Pau Babot and Marc Rebes are expected to keep their places in midfield, while Albert Rosas, who plays in the Spanish third tier for FC Andorra, should start up front as a lone striker.

The stats

Tuchel is set to become the fifth England manager to win his first three games, following Ron Greenwood, Glenn Hoddle, Sven Goran-Eriksson and Fabio Capello, but he could be the first to do so without conceding a goal if his side keep a clean sheet on Saturday.

Kane is hoping to join Peter Crouch, who achieved the feat in 2006 under Steve McLaren, and become just the second player to score in a new England boss' first three games in charge.

England have beaten Andorra by an aggregate score of 25-0 over their six previous meetings.

Andorra have failed to win any of their last 14 qualification matches for major tournaments (World Cup and European Championships) drawing two games and losing the other 12, since beating San Marino 3-0 in October 2021.

Prediction

Tuchel's strong start as Three Lions boss should continue as his side take another step on their way to securing a place in next year's World Cup.

A third win in the group — and third success to start Tuchel's reign - should be a formality for England, who are ranked fourth in the world — a whopping 169 places above goal-shy Andorra in FIFA's table.

The minnows have failed to score in any of their last 11 games and in their six previous matches with England they have never found the back of the net.

Those stats point to another comfortable win to nil this weekend for Kane and co but, for more value, backing the favourites to score at least four goals at 7/10 appeals.
