Ismaila Sarr is a wanted man

Liverpool are leading the race to land Watford winger Ismaila Sarr — but his £40million price tag could prove a stumbling block.

The Reds have already strengthened this summer with the addition of Greek full-back Konstantinos Tsimikas from Olympiacos.

And the Evening Standard suggest the Premier League champions are now at the front of the queue for Sarr.

The relegated Hornets paid £25m for the Senegalese striker last summer and are keen to make the biggest profit possible as they prepare for life in the Championship.

The Sun claim Manchester City could be set to make a shock swoop for Tottenham star Harry Winks.

City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly a “serious admirer” and the 24-year-old midfielder may be allowed to leave for around £40m as Jose Mourinho looks to reshape his squad.

Leicester left-back Ben Chilwell is now attracting the interest of Manchester United, according to The Independent

It is thought United may be more willing to entertain the Foxes’ £80m valuation of the England international, which has already caused Chelsea to cool their interest.

One player who could be on the move to Stamford Bridge is highly-rated Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Speaking to Spanish newspaper AS, Oblak admitted he would address rumours of a switch to Chelsea at the end of Atletico's season, which concluded last night when RB Leipzig eliminated them from the Champions League.

Carlo Ancelotti is set to raid former club Napoli as Everton bid to bolster their squad with the addition of Brazilian midfielder Allan.

The Express report the 29-year-old has slid down the pecking order since the arrival of boss Gennaro Gattuso and will be allowed to leave should a suitable bid come in from the Toffees.

Brighton are also keen to strengthen, with NAC Breda defender Jan Paul van Hecke in their sights.

According to The Argus, the Seagulls are battling Monaco for the highly-rated 20-year-old's signature.

Meanwhile, Championship side Stoke are reportedly open to bids of £8m for keeper Jack Butland.

The Daily Mail claim the £30m price tag placed on the 27-year-old following his call-up to England’s 2018 World Cup squad has been slashed by the Potters.

Butland, who has a year left on his contract, has made no secret of his desire to return to the Premier League.
