Bayern Munich need to be at their best against Lazio

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is confident Harry Kane will deliver the goods in tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Lazio.

Tuchel's men are 1-0 down following their defeat in Rome in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

Kane has scored 31 goals in 32 games since joining Bayern from Tottenham last summer but drew criticism for his display against the Biancocelesti.

Tuchel said: "It's not necessary to give him additional motivation.

"There's no doubt about how he behaves. He has a big impact on every team, on every player.

"He's not a loud speaker but the way he does things is very focused, always has an impact on the team.

"It's a pleasure to have him in the team. He'll perform tomorrow. We can rely on him 100%."

Bayern are 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga table and already knocked out of the DFB-Pokal meaning the pressure is on the hosts at the Allianz Arena.

Tuchel has already confirmed he will be stepping down at the end of the season and admits he has not enjoyed recent weeks in the Bavarian giants' dugout.

He said: "I don't like losing. I can't deal well with defeats. It's important to remain positive. I'll grow from it.

"Football is my big love. I'm 100% involved. I will be until my final game with Bayern.

"The state of play is clear. We need to win."

Bayern come into the game off the back of a 2-2 draw at Freiburg on Friday night and have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven outings.

Ex-Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund manager Tuchel knows his men must keep it tight to achieve the two-goal turnaround.

The 50-year-old added: "The problem we've had this season is we haven't had the opportunity to play with the same back four.

"Recently, we conceded too many goals for our standards.

"We're challenged overall. It's not just the defence, it's a team approach.

"We got ourselves out of rhythm through individual mistakes.

"We need possession and good defence when we attack and all of that over 90 minutes at the highest level."
