The international break means a reduced EFL weekend schedule but there are still 14 games taking place across League One and League Two.

Here is a look at some of the best bets on Saturday as part of our four-fold accumulator.

Saturday 3pm

League One high-flyers Derby took a big step towards automatic promotion with last Saturday’s 1-0 victory at home to Bolton and they can follow up by defeating mid-table Northampton at Sixfields Stadium.

The second-placed Rams have racked up four successive wins and hold a four-point advantage over third-placed Bolton in the race for automatic promotion.

Derby have lots to play for, but the same cannot be said of 14th-placed Northampton, who seem to have lost their edge in recent weeks.

Jon Brady’s side are winless in five league matches for the first time since October and their slide looks set to continue.

Saturday 3pm

Barrow have been in League Two’s top seven since mid-November and they can further boost their promotion hopes by defeating play-off hopefuls Newport at the SO Legal Stadium.

Pete Wild’s Bluebirds are unbeaten in four matches and have kept clean sheets in three successive home games.

A solid defence has been key for Barrow, who have conceded only 40 league goals.

The Cumbrian outfit are the joint-lowest scorers among the top nine with just 52 goals notched, but they should find a way past Newport, who are weakened at the back by a Wales Under-21 call up for Matt Baker and injuries to Ryan Delaney and Shane McLoughlin.

Saturday 3pm

Doncaster have moved decisively away from League Two relegation danger by taking 17 points from their last eight games and their positive spell can continue with a victory over second-bottom Forest Green at the Eco-Power Stadium.

Grant McCann’s Rovers have won their last two matches and they should have too much quality for Forest Green, who moved back into the relegation zone after last Saturday’s 1-0 loss at home to basement boys Sutton United.

Saturday 3pm

Gillingham’s League Two play-off push has stalled due to a four-game winless run but the Kent club can get back on track by defeating Morecambe at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium.

Stephen Clemence’s side have registered four away wins in 2024 and they can grab another maximum against the out-of-sorts Shrimps, who have slipped to 12th after three successive defeats.
