Roma have won four of their five home games in the Europa League

The Europa League quarter-finals are finely balanced after their first legs, with all four either stalemates or with the second-leg visitors sporting a one-goal advantage.

Away from Manchester United’s clash with Sevilla, there are three exciting ties that have it all to play for in the second matches.

Roma vs Feyenoord (Thursday, 8pm)

The stats

Feyenoord are winless in their last five away games in Europe, dating all the way back to the Europa Conference League semi-final last season.

Roma have progressed from each other their last three European knockout ties when they lost the first leg by one goal.

The hosts have won seven of their last eight home games in all competitions.

Prediction

Feyenoord were a touch fortunate to get a 1-0 win from the first leg of this quarter-final, which is a rematch of last season’s Europa Conference League final.

Roma bounced back with a big 3-0 win over Udinese on Sunday in the race for a Serie A top four finish and that victory demonstrated their prowess on home soil.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been almost faultless recently at the Stadio Olimpico and should be able to get revenge on their Dutch opponents with a win in this matchup.

Union Saint Gilloise vs Bayer Leverkusen (Thursday, 8pm)

The stats

Bayer Leverkusen have been solid recently, they are unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions.

Nine of Union Saint Gilliose’s last 11 games in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals.

Union Saint Gilloise striker Victor Boniface is the top-scorer in the Europa League this season alongside Marcus Rashford after scoring in the first leg, both have netted six goals.

Prediction

Union Saint Gilloise have surprised onlookers throughout their European run this season and not many will have predicted them to return from the away leg against Bayer Leverkusen with a draw.

There are goals throughout the Belgian side and they could be involved in a high-scoring clash.

Leverkusen have a plethora of attacking talents and both sides could be forced to go for it at some point during the match so it may be an end-to-end affair.

Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus have won both away games without conceding in the Europa League

Sporting Lisbon vs Juventus (Thursday, 8pm)

The stats

Sporting have not won any of their last four home games in European football.

The hosts have only won one of their last four games in all competitions.

Of Juventus’ last ten games, eight have gone under 2.5 goals so don’t expect a high-scoring affair.

Prediction

Juventus played effective if not overly attractive football in the first leg between these two teams and they could be forced to do the same again in the second matchup.

However their defensive steel may be enough to see them get the better of Sporting, who will be forced to go for it at some point and may leave themselves open at the back.

Take the draw out of the equation and back Juventus in the draw no bet market, they could be dangerous on the counter attack.
