- West Ham have conceded in each of their last 12 Premier League matches
- Both teams have scored in each of Fulham’s last five away games
- Recommended bet:
Both teams to score & over 2.5 goals

West Ham are without their best player as they play host to Fulham on Sunday afternoon when David Moyes will be hoping his team can bounce back from their midweek defeat in Germany.

Fulham will not be an easy side to defeat, though, with their fellow Londoners eyeing up a top-half finish and having proved more than capable in front of goal this season.

Team news

West Ham remain without star man Jarrod Bowen after missing the trip to Leverkusen with a back injury, joining goalkeeper Alphonse Areola and midfielder Kalvin Phillips on the sidelines for the hosts.

Fulham head to the London Stadium free from any selection issues, with Rodrigo Muniz set to lead the line ahead of Willian, Andreas Pereira, and Adama Traore.

The stats

No team in the bottom half of the table has scored more than Marco Silva's Fulham
No team in the bottom half of the table has scored more than Marco Silva's Fulham

West Ham have conceded in each of their last 12 Premier League matches.

Both teams have scored in each of Fulham’s last five away games;

Over 2.5 goals has landed in 66% of both West Ham’s and Fulham’s league assignments this season.

West Ham have scored 19 and conceded 26 in their last 12 top-flight games.

Each of Fulham’s last five away games have featured at least three goals.

Prediction

West Ham came from behind to beat Wolves last weekend but that 2-1 victory did continue an unwanted record for the Hammers, who have now conceded in each of their last 12 Premier League matches.

They have shipped 26 times in this period, although they have scored 19 times themselves and only one team outside the top five has scored more goals than the Hammers this season.

Fulham have also proven fragile at the back, conceding in every away game since a mid-September goalless draw at Selhurst Park. They do, however, harbour the best-attacking record in the bottom half of the table and can draw confidence from the fact they thrashed West Ham 5-0 at Craven Cottage in December.

The Cottagers have improved in front of goal away from home since the emergence of Rodrigo Muniz in February, with the Brazilian netting eight times in 10 starts since then and helping Fulham to a tally of nine goals in their last five away games.

There have been three or more goals and both teams have scored in each of these five recent trips and more entertainment can be expected when they make the 10-mile trip across London.
