The Wolves tails are no longer wagging after three straight Bundesliga defeats, but a visit from struggling Werder Bremen is just what Niko Kovac's side needs to regain the scent of victory.
Die Werderaner are the only Bundesliga club yet to pick up at least a point away from home this season and come into this having lost their last seven away league assignments dating back to April.
Wolfsburg have won three of their four Bundesliga matches at Volkswagen Arena and should have renewed confidence after beating RB Leipzig there in the German Cup on Tuesday.

Granada – one of three La Liga teams to have taken only a solitary point from their first five away games of the season – will struggle to improve on that record against Valencia at the Mestalla.
Ruben Baraja's men have won three of their five home league games so far and kept clean sheets each time.
Los Che will have to face the Andalusians without injured marksman Hugo Duro, who has scored five goals in ten games, but Granada are shipping goals at a rate close to three per game so chances are likely to be plentiful.

Monaco missed their chance to go top of the table last Sunday when they slipped to a 2-0 defeat at improving Lille, but this clash looks a lot more straightforward.
Brest are on a downward slide after back-to-back defeats at Lille and at home to Paris Saint-Germain. They were competitive in both games, but have found the rarefied air of the top six a bit too much to handle.
Monaco are Ligue 1's best home side right now with four wins out of five and a healthy goal return of 11 goals at the Stade Louis II.

The First Division A leaders have won eight of their last nine competitive games, suffering their only blip since mid-September in a brave 2-0 defeat to Europa League favourites Liverpool at Anfield.
Alexander Blessin's side are playing much better football than former champions Club Brugge, who laboured to a 2-1 home win over current champions Antwerp last time out.
Ronny Deila sacrificed his attacking principles to dig out a result after they became too easy to play against, but three defeats in their last four road games makes them vulnerable to the vibrant hosts here.

Nice are nothing like the finished article in France, but they sit top of the table thanks to some doughty defensive displays and the ability to strike decisive blows in key moments.
Seven clean sheets in their last eight league games tells its own story and they might be able to make the result stick with one goal against a Rennes side that has failed to score in two of their last three on the road.
The Eaglets have edged four of their last five games 1-0 and this matchup bears all the hallmarks of becoming another smash-and-grab win for the hosts.
