Back Real Sociedad to beat Rayo Vallecano @ 3/5

Real Sociedad have been going great guns this season and have lost only one of their last 15 games in all competitions, with their defence has been a huge reason for their success. 

They have kept eight clean sheets in their last 10 matches which suggests they may be too strong for Rayo Vallecano who, with 18 goals scored this term, are LaLiga's second-lowest scoring side. 

Sociedad are unbeaten in their last 10 meetings with Vallecano, winning three of the last five, and, given their impressive defensive record, they should have no issue outscoring their misfiring visitors on Saturday.

Back Wolfsburg to beat Cologne @ 8/11

Wolfsburg have struggled for consistency this season and are firmly in mid-table at current, but they have looked far more comfortable at home and can win on Saturday. 

The Wolves' only home league losses this term have come by a single goal to league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, giants Bayern Munich and highflying Freiburg. They have won four of their eight Bundesliga matches at the Volkswagen Arena and should be too strong for relegation-threatened Cologne.

The visitors' sole win in 11 away matches came against Darmstadt, the only side below them in the table, suggesting they may be in for a tough time at Wolfsburg this weekend.

Back Marseille to beat Monaco @ 5/4

Marseille were unlucky to go out of the Coupe de France on penalties to Rennes last weekend but they can bounce back with a victory over Monaco on Saturday night.

Their league form has been brilliant since the appointment of Gennaro Gattuso, especially at home where they are yet to lose a Ligue 1 match this term. 

In contrast, Monaco have won two of their last five away league matches, drawing with newly-promoted Le Havre in that run, and have been victorious on just one of their last five trips to Marseille, suggesting the in-form hosts should land this one and maintain their excellent home record.

Back Reims to beat Nantes @ 3/4

Nantes are a side woefully out of form, winning just one of their last nine Ligue 1 matches in a run that has included seven losses, and they could be set for more misery against Reims as their hurtle towards the relegation zone continues. 

Scoring goals has been a huge issue for the Canaries, finding the net just four times in that poor run of nine matches, suggesting they may struggle against a side that has won four of their last eight home games to nil. 

Reims beat top-four side Monaco 3-1 in their last Ligue 1 outing and look set to be too strong for Nantes, who are in complete freefall.

Back Lazio to beat Napoli @ 6/5

The Italian capital will see perhaps the tie of the weekend when Lazio host Napoli on Sunday, with the reigning Serie A champions' struggles likely to continue against Maurizio Sarri's men. 

Napoli's only win in four league matches came against basement boys Salernitana and they have lost their last three Serie A away games without even managing a goal. 

With star man Victor Osimhen still away with Nigeria for the Africa Cup of Nations their struggles in front of goal may continue against an in-form Lazio who have won their last four league games and whose only home loss in nine Serie A games came against title-chasing Inter Milan, who lifted the Supercoppa Italiana on Monday.

Sarri's men should prove too strong for Napoli on Sunday, just as they were when winning the reverse fixture in Naples back in September.
