Mustapha Bundu took the suspended Ibrahim Cissoko's place on Plymouth's left side in Wednesday's 1-0 loss at Millwall. Cissoko remains banned but Bundu may not have done enough to keep his place, with Rami Al Hajj or Freddie Issaka competing for the slot.
Back-up defender Brendan Galloway remains an injury absentee for Argyle.
Milutin Osmajic, North End's first-choice frontman, is serving a lengthy ban so Emil Riis will again lead the line.

Fortress Home Park is a tough place for visiting sides to go but Preston look in ideal form to go to Plymouth and win.

The Lilywhites have had an extra 24 hours to prepare for this game having drawn 2-2 at home to Norwich on Tuesday, 24 hours before Plymouth produced yet another away-day no-show in a 1-0 loss at Millwall.
Preston are also doing well in a tricky run of games having also crushed Watford 3-0 and drawn 0-0 at Burnley during a successful October.
They do not create too many chances but their chance conversion is healthy enough and Argyle are the most generous team in the division, conceding more shots than any other side.
Plymouth are very up and down and only Portsmouth have conceded more goals. If they start to slip up at home they will be in grave danger and massive improvers Preston are just the sort who could start that rot.
