The first week of Wimbledon threw up plenty of shocks in both the men's and women's events and now we move into the second week where the stakes are that much higher.

Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic will look to take the next step to a potential semi-final blockbuster as they take on Grigor Dimitrov and Alex de Minaur respectively in Monday's highlight matches in the men's draw.

On the women's side, former world number one Iga Swiatek faces a stern examination of her grass-court skills against Clara Tauson, while rising Russian ace Mirra Andreeva faces Emma Navarro in the other all-seeded fourth-round clash on Monday.

Marin Cilic vs Flavio Cobolli

Marin Cilic has been rolling back the years at Wimbledon 2025 so far, beating home hope Jack Draper — considered one of the pre-tournament favourites — en route to the fourth round and now faces Flavio Cobolli for a place in the quarter-finals.

The Croatian of course made it all the way to the final in 2017 but this is the furthest he has gone since then, although he is also making his return to the All England Club after missing the last three tournaments.

Cilic has been made favourite for his fourth-round clash but Cobolli is perhaps being underestimated as the 22nd seed.

True, grass would not be seen as his preferred surface but he has shown some fine form leading into this tournament, beating Joao Fonseca and Denis Shapovalov en route to the quarter-finals at Halle, while he has not dropped a set in his three matches at Wimbledon so far.

Beating big-serving 15th seed Jakub Mensik 6-2 6-4 6-2 in the last round should stand him in good stead to face Cilic, and he has beaten the veteran in both of their previous meetings without dropping a set (both on clay), which includes a dominant 6-2 6-1 6-3 win at Roland Garros earlier this year.

Alex de Minaur vs Novak Djokovic

One favourite who looks full value needs no introduction as Novak Djokovic has proven his quality time and time again, winning Wimbledon on seven of the 10 occasions that he has reached the final.

Djokovic has in fact contested the final in each of the last six editions, and he looks in the mood to extend that run.

Alex De Minaur has beaten Djokovic before, winning 6-4 6-4 in the United Cup in 2024, but the Serbian ace has won both of their other meetings, which includes a 6-2 6-1 6-2 win in their only previous Grand Slam meeting at the Australian Open in 2023.

Djokovic has dropped only 12 games across his last two matches at Wimbledon and he can account for De Minaur once again in routine fashion.

Mirra Andreeva vs Emma Navarro

While a host of top players have fallen by the wayside in the first week, two seeds are set to go head to head in the fourth round as Mirra Andreeva takes on Emma Navarro for a place in the quarter-finals.

Andreeva is now the highest seed left in the bottom half of the draw at seven following the early exits of Coco Gauff (two) and Jessica Pegula (five) and she has been installed as a favourite to see off her American opponent, who is seeded 10th.

The rising Russian star has yet to drop a set in the tournament so far, having enjoyed three rather stress-free matches to this point, and does have the confidence of a dominant 6-2 6-2 win over Navarro in their only previous meeting in Cincinnati last year.

That victory came when she was unseeded but such has been her meteoric rise that she is now ranked three places higher than Navarro — who was made to work hard by defending champion Barbora Krejcikova last time out before winning 2-6 6-3 6-4.

Krejcikova has been struggling with form and fitness since winning the title 12 months ago and was suffering again in her defeat to Navarro. Andreeva is likely to be more unrelenting and can put Navarro's serve under real pressure throughout, with Krejcikova having created 18 break points against the American in the third round.
