Kieran McKenna's Ipswich Town look to reignite their automatic promotion push when they travel to London to face Millwall, who are being dragged into a relegation battle.

Ipswich have blinked first in a ferocious fight for promotion from the Championship, winning just one of their last nine league matches since mid-December.

That said, Town have lost only twice in that run and they appear to be taking on Millwall at the right time. The Lions have lost five of their last six matches, drawing the other, and have only a four-point buffer to the relegation zone.

Millwall's top goalscorer Kevin Nisbet may not play again this season after suffering a hamstring injury at the end of January.

Loanee Ryan Longman has not featured since coming off with a shoulder injury in last month's 1-1 draw at Preston and is set to miss a few more weeks yet. Full-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy is a doubt.

Ipswich striker George Hirst remains sidelined but Cameron Burgess has returned from the Asian Cup and could feature while Brandon Williams should also be fit.

Ipswich remain in the hunt for automatic promotion from the Championship but a tricky spell has seen the Tractor Boys cede the initiative in the race for the Premier League.

Town start the week four points adrift of Southampton in second and have won just once since mid-December, when they came from behind to defeat Sunderland at Portman Road.

And given that their rivals for second spot, Saints and Leeds, show no sign of slowing down at present, Ipswich must start turning draws into victories or they will lose further ground.

A trip to the Den is usually one to approach with trepidation but it may not be as fearsome as usual with Millwall at a low ebb right now.

The Lions have picked up just one point since beating Bristol City on New Year's Day and are in danger of being sucked into the relegation battle.
