Big deals to look out for

Some fine World Cup performances from a number of players could well convince clubs to make a move.

The future of Cody Gakpo is sure to be a hot topic after he scored in each of the Netherlands’ group games on their way to reaching the quarter-final.

Manchester United are seen as the frontrunners for the PSV forward as Erik Ten Hag continues his revolution at Old Trafford.

It seems a matter of if, rather than when, Jude Bellingham makes his move to the Premier League after starring during England’s campaign.

The Borussia Dortmund teen has been heavily linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, and it remains to be seen whether a mid-season switch is on the cards.

Jurgen Klopp's men could well be set for a busy month, with fellow World Cup stars Enzo Fernandez and Sofyan Amrabat reportedly seen as potential midfield additions.
