Washington Freedom were in the hunt, with Rachin Ravindra playing a brilliant knock to keep them in the chase. However once Ravindra was dismissed, MI New York seized control. Glenn Phillips struggled to find his rhythm early in his innings before some late sixes had us set for a grandstand finish. MI New York's bowlers were exceptional in the final stretch, with Trent Boult and Rushil Ugarkar picking up two wickets each, playing a pivotal role in their victory. Rushil Ugarkar is the Player of the Match and Mitch Owen is the Player of the Tournament.
