Transfer Talk: Pogba offered £128m deal to move to Saudi
Paul Pogba has been presented with a big-money offer to move to the Saudi Pro League.
French midfielder Pogba, 30, has three years remaining on his contract at Juventus but both club and player are happy to cut ties.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Al-Ahli have tabled the ex-Manchester United enigma £128milllion over three years.
Al-Ahli have already added Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino to their ranks this summer.
And now they have Pogba firmly in their sights, despite the World Cup winner’s poor 2022-23 campaign.
Hit by knee, groin and hamstring injuries, he managed only 10 appearances for Juve in all competitions.
Pogba was pictured in Saudi Arabia earlier this week and should he manage to prove his fitness — and both clubs agree to a nominal fee — the transfer could soon be completed.
