Serie A Predictions - Week 35

&w=707&quality=100)
- Parma have drawn six of their last seven matches
- Six of Napoli's nine away wins this season came to nil
- Atalanta have scored 15 goals in their last five away matches
Four rounds of matches remain in the 2024/25 Serie A season and, unlike most of Europe's other top leagues, there is plenty to play for at both ends of the table.
Napoli returned to top spot last weekend and will travel to Lecce before second-placed Inter Milan, who trail by three points, host Verona in an attempt to bounce back from consecutive losses.
Torino vs Venezia (Friday, 7.45pm)
Torino are unbeaten in eight home games, winning four, but Venezia are scrapping for their lives and will not go down without a fight. The visitors are winless on the road but can add to their tally of eight away draws.
Score prediction: Torino 1-1 Venezia
Cagliari vs Udinese (Saturday, 2pm)
Cagliari look to have secured survival after last week's 3-0 win over Verona and can double up with victory at home to Udinese. The visitors are winless in seven and have not scored in four.
Score prediction: Cagliari 1-0 Udinese
Parma vs Como (Saturday, 2pm)
Draw specialists Parma have played out six stalemates in seven matches — including against Inter, Fiorentina and Lazio. Visitors Como are in fine form but their hosts are a tough nut to crack. A repeat of October's 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture looks likely.
Score prediction: Parma 1-1 Como
Lecce vs Napoli (Saturday, 5pm)
Relegation-threatened Lecce are on an 11-match winless run, which will be music to the ears of title-chasing Napoli. Antonio Conte's men have won their last three, all to nil, and can put their hosts to the sword.
Score prediction: Lecce 0-3 Napoli
Inter Milan vs Verona (Saturday, 7.45pm)
Back-to-back losses have left Inter with little margin for error in the title race but they should regain the winning thread against Verona, who have been unable to score in four of their last five matches.
Score prediction: Inter Milan 2-0 Verona
Empoli vs Lazio (Sunday, 11.30am)
&w=707&quality=100)
Empoli are 19th and haven't won since December. They could be dragged further into trouble by Lazio. The visitors have claimed 10 victories on the road this season and can strengthen their Champions League ambitions.
Score prediction: Empoli 0-2 Lazio
Monza vs Atalanta (Sunday, 2pm)
Monza are on the verge of relegation — and could be down by the time this match kicks off. They have just 15 points to their name and may struggle to lay a glove on Atalanta, who will be aiming to solidify their top-four status.
Score prediction: Monza 1-3 Atalanta
Roma vs Fiorentina (Sunday, 5pm)
Roma have claimed five wins by a single goal in their last seven Serie A matches and can continue their top-four charge with another narrow victory against Fiorentina. The Viola are in decent form but may be distracted by European commitments.
Score prediction: Roma 2-1 Fiorentina
Bologna vs Juventus (Sunday, 7.45pm)
Bologna can leapfrog Juventus in the top-four race with a win at the Renato Dall’Ara. The hosts have won nine of their last 10 home games, while the Old Lady have struggled on the road, losing 1–0 at Parma last time out.
Score prediction: Bologna 2-1 Juventus
Genoa vs AC Milan (Monday, 7.45pm)
Genoa are ending the season with a whimper, claiming one point and failing to score in their last three matches, and they could struggle to hold Milan at bay. The Rossoneri have had a poor season but they have won three of their last four on their travels.
Score prediction: Genoa 0-2 AC Milan
