Ben Duckett Top Run Scorer - England

It has been a frustrating week for England and Pakistan whose T20 World Cup preparations have been wrecked by bad weather.

England have won the one completed game - by 23 runs - with the other two washed out, so both camps will be desperate for a full game at The Oval before they fly out to the Caribbean.

Team news

England skipper Jos Buttler is likely to be absent with his wife expecting their third child, with Moeen Ali expected to captain the side in his absence.

If Buttler does not play it would offer Ben Duckett a chance to bat after not playing in the one completed game of the series at Edgbaston.

Mark Wood and Sam Curran are also almost certain to come in.

For Pakistan, pacemen Abbas Afridi and Naseem Shah can expect to be drafted in with Haris Rauf, who returned from injury to feature on Saturday, set for a rest.

The stats

England have won 19 and lost nine of the 29 completed T20 internationals against Pakistan.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is just 13 runs away from becoming only the second man (after Virat Kohli) to score 4,000 T20 international runs.

England have won their only T20 showdown with Pakistan at The Oval (2009) but have won just three of nine T20 internationals played at Surrey's home ground.

Prediction

England are 11/20 with :LiveScore Bet to complete a 2-0 series victory over Pakistan and it is a hard price to find fault with.

Jos Buttler's side won the one completed game — in Birmingham — by 23 runs on Saturday but there was a sense that they had left plenty in the tank.

Their famed top order spluttered occasionally with only two of them — Buttler with 84 off 51 and Will Jacks with 37 off 23 — truly flowing.

There should be so much more to come from England's powerful top six with Ben Duckett set to get a chance in his country's final run-out before the T20 World Cup.

Duckett is 5/1 to be the top England runscorer and that looks a really big price.

Adil Rashid also looks a top pick to be the top England wicket-taker at 10/3 with LiveScore Bet. The leg-spinner, central to England's prospects at The Oval and in the World Cup, only bowled three overs at Edgbaston and took one for 23.

Only seven players have taken more T20 international wickets than Rashid, who is a handful at any stage of the innings and picks up cheap wickets galore as batters try to muscle him out of the attack.
