After a slow start, Dean Smith's Norwich have turned their Championship season around

There is more Championship action to look forward to on Wednesday, with six matches to come from the second tier.

In-form Norwich are hoping to strengthen their Championship title claims by making it six straight wins at home to another side going well, Bristol City.

At the other end of the table, Coventry are the only side in tier two without a win and will be desperate to break their duck at Luton.

Norwich vs Bristol City (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

The stats

Norwich's sticky start in which they took just one point out of a possible nine following relegation from the Premier League seems like a lifetime ago.

Since then, they have won five in a row culminating in a routine 3-0 dismantling of Coventry in which Josh Sargent scored his fifth goal in his last five matches.

But they might not find it easy seeing off Bristol City, a side whose start to the season almost mirrors Norwich's. Nigel Pearson's men also took one point from nine at the outset, winning four and drawing the other of their last five.

Prediction

Norwich are odds-on and starting to show their Premier League pedigree, but Bristol City will be no pushovers.

The Robins do leak goals, 11 in six games, so expect a high-scorer which Norwich can nick.

Luton vs Coventry (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

The stats

Coventry's road trip of England continues with a fifth away game in six matches, this time at Kenilworth Road.

Luton, surprise playoff semi-finalists last season, are determined to prove that was no fluke, and having drawn at Burnley and won at Cardiff and Swansea, they are no pushovers on their travels. However, their inability to win at home this season is the cause for concern.

Coventry have not beaten Luton in any of their last seven meetings — they were thumped 5-0 at Kenilworth Road 12 months ago.

Prediction

Coventry are bottom of the league but arguably in a false position with games in hand and having played almost exclusively so far on their travels.

Luton have lost momentum from last season and cannot find a win at home and it would be no surprise if this ended in a draw.

Millwall vs QPR (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

The stats

Just one point separates Millwall from London rivals QPR in the Championship standings as they prepare to square off at The Den.

Millwall have won three times at home this season, including last time out when they beat Cardiff 2-0. Having also beaten Coventry and Stoke, it means their home victories have come against three of the bottom five going into this midweek programme.

QPR's results have been mixed. All three of their defeats have been by 1-0 scorelines, yet when there are goals in a game, they tend to do well. They have enjoyed a pair of 3-2 wins over Middlesbrough and Watford and a 3-1 success over Hull.

Prediction

Rangers have an inconsistency about them, making them quite appealing, especially when they are outsiders.

Millwall have failed to score in four of their last six matches, which has to be a concern — and has to be a boost for a bet on the visitors.
