LiveScore Racing Preview: Southwell, November 30, 2021
Southwell is the sole jumps meeting in the UK and Ireland on Tuesday due to the cold snap.
There is a seven-race card from the East Midlands-based venue, with the first contest set for 12.25pm.
The official going is described as 'Good', 'Good to Soft' in places.
And we have picked five horses for you to follow.
12.25pm - "Off The Fence" On youtube.com/attheraces Handicap Chase (2m4½f)
CAWTHORNE LAD was a surprise winner of a handicap chase at Stratford (2m5f) back in October in what was his chase debut.
Jonjo O'Neill's runner appeared to improve for jumping fences, scoring by just over seven lengths.
A follow-up success looks likely here despite a 9lb rise in the official ratings — he has to concede weight to all five of his rivals but further improvement cannot be ruled out.

12.55pm - Cazoo Mares' Novices' Handicap Chase (3m½f)
Four-time hurdles winner UNE DE LA SENIERE is set for her chase debut in this mares' only contest and based on what she has produced over hurdles to date, she is the one to beat.
The six-year-old has already scored once this season, with victory coming on her seasonal reappearance in a handicap hurdle at Ludlow (2m5f).
This extended 3m trip should not be a problem for Fergal O'Brien's mare, the yard is in great form this season and this looks likely to be their latest winner.

1.25pm - Robin Spencer Appreciation And Retirement Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (2m)
After finishing second on his chase debut at Kempton (2m2f), LIGHT N STRIKE took a huge step forward on his most recent appearance at Plumpton (2m1f) to prevail in a handicap chase by 19 lengths where he hit the front two fences from home and then stretched away from the field.
The handicapper has put this novice chaser up 8lb but he can defy that here with another strong showing.
LiveScore selection: Light N Strike
2.30pm - Evanis A Legend, Wiguagain Duck Maiden Hurdle (2m)
CALIDAD is still a maiden after four appearances under Rules but his latest performance at Fontwell (2m1½f) will have given his connections a lot of confidence that a first victory may not be far away — he finished that race second of 13 runners.
The Harry Whittington hurdler sets the standard here with that runner-up finish earlier this month and he remains unexposed. This is a great opportunity for him.

3.30pm - Cazoo Handicap Hurdle (2m4½f)
A switch to Fergal O'Brien's yard appears to have helped THUNDERSOCKSSUNDAE as he produced a career best performance when coming home second of eight at Worcester (2m4f) on his latest outing.
He has gone up just 2lb for that run, which puts him in with a good chance.
Connections have opted to apply the cheekpieces for the first time in this handicap hurdle and it does not look a very strong contest, so this may be the race the gelding finally breaks his maiden.
