Edouard Mendy is considering his future at Chelsea as the Blues continue to struggle in the Premier League this season.

Mendy, 30, was an established starter under former boss Thomas Tuchel, but the arrival of Graham Potter last September has seen more rotation between the Senegal stopper and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

And according to The Daily Mail, Mendy is unhappy at the prospect of sharing the No1 role and wants to be a star player for his club.

The 25-cap international is due to represent his country at the World Cup and could reportedly leave London as early as January.

Mendy has already missed as many Premier League games as he did in the entirety of last season and Potter is seemingly keen on having someone who can play out from the back under pressure.

The report also speculates that the English coach is lining up a move for Brighton keeper Robert Sanchez, which could force Mendy to leave Stamford Bridge well before his contract expires in 2025.

The race to sign Youri Tielemans from Leicester could hot up in January with Sport claiming that both Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on signing the midfielder.

According to Sky Sports Germany, Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is being tracked by Barcelona and could be tempted by a move to the Camp Nou when his contract expires next summer.

Chelsea are confident that they can get a deal for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku over the line by the summer, say 90min.
