Real Madrid have made a sensational £137million bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.

Multiple sources are reporting the France forward is keen to seal a move to LaLiga giants Real.

Both The Guardian and the Daily Mail suggest that Mbappe, 22, has turned down three different contract proposals to extend his stay beyond 2022 in the French capital.

Meanwhile, a report in The Athletic claim PSG have rejected Los Blancos' opening offer, but it remains to be seen whether the Spaniards will lodge a second bid.

Mbappe’s future has been uncertain ever since Lionel Messi arrived at the Parc des Princes earlier this summer, with reports suggesting the 2018 World Cup winner wants to be his club’s talisman.

Madrid are long-time admirers of Mbappe after trying to sign him before he joined PSG back in 2017.

Sky Sports claim the Frenchman has told his current club that it is his dream to play for Los Blancos and he looks set to try and force through a move before the window closes in six days.

Mbappe is one of Europe’s hottest properties after scoring 133 times and notching 63 assists in 174 games for PSG in all competitions.

Questions will be raised over how Real can afford the deal following their well-documented financial struggles, but the club have managed to offload Raphael Varane and Martin Odegaard for a combined £65m.

United frontrunners for Haaland

Manchester United are reportedly in “pole position” to sign Erling Haaland next summer.

The Borussia Dortmund forward has a £64m release clause in his contract which will become active at the end of this season, and Bild are now reporting that the Red Devils are at the front of the queue.

The Norwegian has also been chased by Manchester City and Chelsea in the past after racking up a staggering 62 goals in 63 games for BVB.

A separate report in Bild claims Chelsea tried to beat the chasing pack by offering upwards of £100m to sign the striker this summer but were put off by agent Mino Raiola demanding a staggering £820,000-per-week wage packet for his client.

And with Haaland now looking likely to stay at the Westfalenstadion this season, United will hope that previous ties to player and agent come in handy next summer.

Super-agent Raiola has links to Old Trafford with fellow client Paul Pogba currently at the club, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer worked directly with the Leeds-born 21-year-old whilst he was in charge of Molde between 2015 and 2018.

Chelsea are weighing up a late loan move for Saul Niguez with Atletico Madrid open to allowing the midfielder to leave before the window closes, according to Sky Sports.

But they could face competition from United, who The Guardian report are also interested in the Spain international.

Elsewhere, Arsenal’s busy summer might not be done yet, with Eurosport claiming they have held talks over a move for Kieran Trippier — though the England star would prefer a move to United if he was to leave Atleti.

West Ham are becoming increasingly hopeful of signing centre-back Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, according to The Telegraph, with Tottenham also linked to the Frenchman in recent weeks.
