Wilfried Zaha could be about to follow former boss Roy Hodgson out of Crystal Palace — with Tottenham and Everton eyeing a move for the wantaway winger this summer.
According to Goal, both clubs are plotting a bid for the Palace talisman, who has previously made no secret of his desire to earn another another crack at life at a Premier League side capable of challenging for honours.
Zaha, 28, had a tough spell at Manchester United between 2013 and 2015. He found opportunities severely limited and reportedly feels he still has something to prove at the highest level.
With only two years left on his contract at Selhurst Park — and no intention of signing new terms — the Ivory Coast international could be on the move again.
Palace are reluctant to lose their star player at a time when several first-teamers are due to depart when their contracts expire in the coming weeks.
But they are also realistic regarding potential incoming bids and it is thought a fee of around £40million is what the Londoners will try to hold out for if Zaha is to depart.
Neves on the move?
Ruben Neves could be allowed to leave Wolves this summer to help fund a squad rebuild, according to The Athletic.
Neves, 24, has been a key man since arriving at Molineux from Porto back in 2017 for just £15m, making 176 appearances in a period where Wolves have transitioned from Championship contenders into a Premier League force.
But after the departure of boss Nuno Espirito Santo last week, it is thought club officials are keen to ensure whoever is next in the dugout has sufficient funds at their disposal for new arrivals.
Set to represent Portugal at this summer’s European Championship, Neves will reportedly be allowed to depart should an offer of £35m be received.
However, the Express and Star say the figure demanded could in fact be closer to £45m, with the Midlanders unwilling to have their hand forced in any flash sale.
Manchester United and Liverpool have been previously linked with the set-piece specialist, who has netted 20 goals during his spell in England to date.
