Half of Euro 2020's last-16 ties have now been played and the tournament's knockout phase has yet to truly explode into life. 

But 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia’s meeting with Spain could deliver fireworks after both sides found form in their final group games. 

Luis Enrique's men thumped Sovakia 5-0 and Luka Modric discovered his rhythm as the Croats dumped Scotland out at Hampden Park.

The late game sees tournament favourites France tackle Switzerland, with Les Bleus looking to rediscover some of their panache after draws with Hungary and Portugal.

Vladimir Petkovic’s men scraped through as one of the best third-placed sides and have their work cut out if they are to shock the world champions.

Euro Flashback

Didier's Deschamps' troops are looking to emulate their countrymen’s achievements in 1998 and 2000 by winning the European Championship immediately after lifting the World Cup. 

Not that it was easy 21 years ago, when the French required a stoppage-time equaliser from Sylvain Wiltord in the final against Italy before David Trezeguet struck an extra-time winner.
