International football is back on the menu today as European nations begin the long and winding road to the 2022 World Cup.

And we have lined up some cracking previews for you to enjoy ahead of three crunch encounters this evening.

Belgium vs Wales (Group E, 7.45pm)

Wales kick off their qualifying campaign with a trip to Belgium.

It is a difficult opening game in Group E for the Welsh, who will also battle it out with the Czech Republic, Belarus and Estonia in their quest to reach Qatar next winter.

Rob Page is in charge once again with boss Ryan Giggs on bail after denying allegations of assault.

But how do Gareth Bale and Co stop a world-class Red Devils side orchestrated by Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne?

Check out our in-depth preview to discover how they might approach proceedings in Leuven tonight.

France vs Ukraine (Group D, 7.45pm)

It has been a difficult few years for Ousmane Dembele since he swapped Borussia Dortmund for Barcelona in a £97million move in 2017.

But the French forward, 23, has hit form for Barca in recent weeks and could earn his first international cap since late 2018 when France host Ukraine.

We turn the spotlight on how he has finally found his feet at the Camp Nou and shown the Catalan giants exactly what he is about.

Serbia vs Republic of Ireland (Group A, 7.45pm)

Republic of Ireland and Tottenham fans have high hopes for Troy Parrott but his first season in men’s senior football has not gone to plan.

The striker, 19, failed to find the net during a difficult loan spell at Millwall earlier this term and he traded the Championship for League One by joining Ipswich on a temporary deal.

Parrott netted his first senior goal to secure a 1-0 victory over Plymouth earlier this month and we have profiled Spurs’ young star ahead of a tough trip to Serbia for Stephen Kenny's side.
