The final may not be until next May but that does not stop the Champions League already taking centre stage in the footballing world.

Six clubs are in first-leg action tonight in the final round of qualifying for the group phase of Europe's premier club competition.

As well as turning the spotlight on those games, our daily Transfer Talk round-up is back with all the latest rumours as we edge closer to the summer window slamming shut at the end of the month.

Champions League action

Several Champions League regulars will look to secure their spot in the group stage with six qualifying ties taking place across tonight and tomorrow.

Monaco made the semi-finals as recently as 2016-17 but face a tough task over two legs against seasoned campaigners Shakhtar Donetsk.

The French club will be hoping Myron Boadu finds his feet quickly after completing a £14.5million switch from Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar earlier this summer.

We profile the exciting 20-year-old forward ahead of this evening’s clash.

And if you missed it yesterday, check out our article focusing on what to expect from the qualifiers.

But what will the highly-rated forward bring to Marco Rose’s side? We put the Dutch star’s potential under the microscope.

Transfer Talk

Manchester City’s pursuit of Harry Kane is not the only story in town with two weeks of the transfer window remaining.
