Now he is back with some fresh suggestions for Bournemouth versus Liverpool and Tottenham against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

After mauling rivals Manchester United, Liverpool go to bottom-of-the-table Bournemouth in the early kick-off on Saturday looking for another big win.

Then at 3pm, Tottenham face Nottingham Forest with Spurs aiming to make up for a disappointing week by seeing off a side who have been dismal away from home this season.

Liverpool can blitz their way to south coast success

Bet 1: Liverpool to beat Bournemouth

Liverpool’s rip-roaring success against Manchester United will have supercharged the squad, with a seven-goal victory against their greatest rivals inspiring belief in their hunt for a top-four finish and instilling confidence in the forward line.

They now visit a Bournemouth side who sit bottom of the Premier League and have yet to win any of their 14 meetings with teams from the top half of the table, losing all seven against teams currently in the top five.

Fifth-placed Liverpool will head to the Vitality Stadium highly confident of making it eight consecutive victories against the struggling Cherries.

Bet 2: Over three goals in the match

Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield in August and while the Reds cannot expect another nine-goal haul — or, indeed, a repeat of last weekend’s seven-goal demolition of United — they will fancy their chances of racking up a few.

None of their last seven meetings with the Cherries have seen fewer than three goals and three have seen four or more.

O’Neil’s men have also conceded at least three goals in all seven defeats to top-five opponents this term, shipping four home and away against Manchester City as well as the nine at Anfield.

And they could contribute to the scoring at the other end, having already netted at least once against each of Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle.

Bet 3: Mohamed Salah to score at anytime

Mohamed Salah will be on a high after breaking Robbie Fowler’s Premier League goalscoring record for Liverpool last Sunday and looks a good bet to continue his prolific run this weekend.

The Egyptian forward appears to be back to his best after scoring in four of his last six outings for the Reds, including a brace against United last weekend, and seems to be striking up a great understanding up front with Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo.

Tottenham can fell Forest

Bet 1: Tottenham to win the second half

Tottenham suffered a setback in their top-four pursuit last weekend but were unlucky to lose at Wolves given they had the majority of possession, twice hit the woodwork and created 1.3 expected goals to their hosts' figure of 0.4.

They then tamely slipped out of the Champions League when drawing 0-0 at home to AC Milan on Thursday, losing 1-0 on aggregate, so will want to quickly bounce back when Nottingham Forest visit.

Spurs have been reliable when hosting teams involved in the relegation scrap, winning all six home games against teams in the bottom eight so far this season.

However, Tottenham tend to keep things tight in the first half before cutting loose in the second, drawing or losing at half-time in six of their last eight league matches that they have gone on to win.

Bet 2: Both teams to score: No

Only nine Premier League teams have collected more points in front of their own fans than Forest this season but no top-flight club has collected fewer points on the road than the six won by Steve Cooper’s men.

All six were won away at teams in the bottom three and Forest have failed to score a single goal in any of their nine trips to teams outside the relegation places, losing eight of those.

Tottenham have kept clean sheets in their last three league home games, beating Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham in doing so, and will expect to shut out a shot-shy Forest side.

Bet 3: Tottenham to score over one goal

Tottenham have been ruthless when hosting the lesser teams, with their six wins against visitors from the current bottom eight being by scorelines of 4-1, 2-0, 4-3, 2-0, 6-2 and 1-0.

Antonio Conte’s men should score at least twice against a Forest side who have conceded more than one goal in seven of eight away defeats this term – and Forest’s losses by 6-0, 5-0, 4-0 (twice) and 3-0 hint at an even bolder play in this market for bettors looking for bigger-priced options.
