Everton and Luton meet at Goodison Park, with a defeat for either likely to act as a significant psychological blow in the battle to beat the drop — even at this early stage of the season.

There is also a chance for West Ham to get back on track against a Sheffield United side who have yet to pick up a point away from home.

Everton vs Luton (Saturday, 3pm)

Bet 1: Match result will be Everton

Everton have a happy knack of picking up the occasional big result under Sean Dyche and finally got their first win of the Premier League season at Brentford on Saturday.

That 3-1 success lifted them to 15th in the table, but it was another frustrating afternoon for Luton as they could only draw 1-1 at home to 10-man Wolves.

Bet 2: Abdoulaye Doucoure to score at anytime

Everton's best performances during Dyche's reign have coincided with Abdoulaye Doucoure playing further up the field.

The Frenchman has become a decent source of goals, netting at Brentford and in the 2-2 draw at Sheffield United.

Doucoure's influence will be vital if Everton are to avoid the drop and he will fancy himself to pierce the Hatters' defence.

Bet 3: Over 11 corners for both teams combined

Despite the pair's rather measly goal returns — combined they have just eight in the league — they have both enjoyed good periods of dominance in some games.

Everton have averaged 5.66 corners, while Luton, the lowest scorers in the division, have averaged 6.40 per outing, so backing over 11 corners in the match is something to consider.

West Ham vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Bet 1: Match result will be West Ham

West Ham have lost their last two Premier League matches 3-1, but those results come with a caveat as they were against Manchester City and Liverpool.

Saturday's match represents a great chance to get back on track against a Sheffield United side wounded by last Sunday's 8-0 defeat against Newcastle.

Injuries have blunted the Blades, but there are serious doubts about whether they have the necessary quality to compete at the top level.

They look unlikely to add their tally of just a solitary Premier League point this weekend.

Bet 2: Jarrod Bowen to score at anytime

Jarrod Bowen's confidence has been restored by his winner in June's Europa Conference League final victory over Fiorentina and he has made a fine start to the season.

The 26-year-old has scored four times in his six league outings this term, including a brilliant diving header at Anfield.

Bowen now also looks to have extra competition for his place in the form of summer signing Mohammed Kudus, giving him extra motivation to ensure his fast start to the season continues on Saturday.

Bet 3: Over 3 cards in the match for Sheffield United

The Blades' tough reintroduction to life in the Premier League has inevitably led to them receiving plenty of yellow cards, averaging 3.33 per game.

Interestingly, seven of those came in their last away match, a controversial 2-1 reverse at Tottenham, while they also picked up four against Newcastle.

Despite their woes, Paul Heckingbottom's side retain some spirit and could rack up the cards in Stratford.
