Unai Emery's Aston Villa face Nottingham Forest in what could be an entertaining affair

There could be six of the best in the Premier League on Saturday, with Manchester City and Arsenal both among those involved in the day's games.

Here are our experts' selections for the day's matches.

Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3pm)

Aston Villa have won nine of their 12 league outings at Villa Park and could edge an entertaining clash against Nottingham Forest.

The Tricky Trees were excellent in last Saturday's win over West Ham. That game produced a rare clean sheet, with both teams scoring in eight of their last 10.

Unai Emery's side remain well in the hunt for the Champions League places and can boost their hopes with another victory.

Brighton vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

Everton were the 5-1 winners on their last visit to Brighton and they will look to channel that energy on their latest trip to the Amex.

The Toffees have drawn four of their last last five and have the chance to seal another point against the Seagulls, who have drawn five of their last eight on their own patch.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

Crystal Palace begin a new era against Burnley as Oliver Glasner makes his first appearance in the Selhurst Park dugout.

The Austrian takes over a team lacking confidence but a home match against a struggling Burnley outfit could be the perfect introduction to Premier League football.

Goals have been an issue for both sides this season, so it could be a tight contest between the Eagles and the Clarets.

Manchester United vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Manchester United have been hit with the news that Rasmus Hojlund will miss two to three weeks with a muscle injury but his colleagues should still have enough to overcome Fulham.

The Red Devils are eyeing a sixth win in a row, results that have eased the pressure on boss Erik ten Hag.

A run of one win in eight has seen Fulham eliminated from both domestic cups and slip into the bottom half of the league table, so confidence could be low among Marco Silva's squad.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bournemouth's strong end to 2023 has been tempered by them still not winning in 2024, and they could struggle against visitors Manchester City.

The Citizens beat Brentford in the week but should improve after a sluggish showing against the Bees, meaning it could be a long evening for Andoni Iraola's side.

Arsenal vs Newcastle (Saturday, 8pm)

Arsenal were poor in Wednesday's Champions League defeat in Porto but are usually excellent at home and are tipped to bounce back when Newcastle visit.

The Magpies' recent improvement has seen them move back into the hunt for a European finish but they traditionally struggle at the Emirates, failing to win at the ground since 2010.

Their league matches have averaged 3.76 goals per game and there could be more entertainment on Saturday.
