- Rotherham have lost four of their last five league assignments
- Recommended bet: Preston to win at 13/10
Championship pace-setters Preston North End make the trip to the New York Stadium on Saturday and will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of the second tier against a struggling Rotherham United outfit.
The Millers fell to a comprehensive 3-0 defeat at Millwall in midweek and sit just outside the relegation zone.
They have won just once so far this season and that midweek loss left them looking back on five defeats from their last six competitive games.
Team news
The Millers remain badly hampered by injuries, with Matt Taylor without six first-team players heading into Saturday’s game, with Cafu, Shane Ferguson, Lee Peltier, Jamie Lindsay, Grant Hall and Sean Morrison all sidelined.
However, Hakeem Odoffin and Andre Green could return to the starting line-up.
For the visitors Will Keane continues to miss out after being injured on international duty, joining Ched Evans, Emil Riis and Calvin Ramsay on the sidelines.
Andrew Hughes in is line to replace Jack Whatmough in defence for the Lilywhites.

Prediction
Preston extended their unbeaten start to the Championship season with a 2-1 midweek victory over Birmingham City and they should be able to maintain their position at the top of the table when they face a struggling Rotherham.
That win over the Blues made it six successive victories for the Lilywhites and they sit one point clear of Leicester City at the top of the Championship.
It may be too early to talk about promotion just yet, but they look a vastly improved side from the one that finished 12th last term.
In contrast, it has been more of the same for a Rotherham outfit that finished 19th in 2022/23.
The Millers sit just outside the relegation zone and have won five of their last six games in all competitions, with a deserved 3-0 thumping at Millwall the latest in a growing line of disappointments.
Rotherham lost 2-1 at home to Preston in their last meeting in March and, with the visitors winning three of their last four league games by the same scoreline, another win for North End looks likely.
