The focus for Monday's action is on the seven-race card at Windsor

It is a busy start to the week with six meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Monday.

And we are focusing on the evening card from Windsor, where the action begins at 5.25pm.

Here are our five horses to follow across the meeting.

5.25pm - British EBF Maiden Stakes (5f)

This is a good novice contest to begin the card with.

Auditor and So Smart have shown promise on the track in the early stages of their careers.

They both will need to concede weight to DREAMS OF THUNDER ,who can take advantage of her fillies' allowance.

Robert Cowell's runner has been denied by a small margin in both of her two appearances to date.

With experience on her side now, she should improve and that will be enough for her to break her maiden.

LiveScore Selection: Dreams Of Thunder

5.55pm - British EBF Novice Stakes (6f)

The best piece of form shown by any of the runners in this novice contest has come from DUBAI JEWEL, who finished second at Newmarket last month.

The horse that beat her has since gone on to prevail in a Group 3 contest so that form has taken a huge boost.

Andrew Balding's filly remains unexposed so she is entitled to improve again and  is going take some beating here.

LiveScore Selection: Dubai Jewel

6.55pm - Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap (1m)

Sir Edward Elgar makes his first foray on the turf
Sir Edward Elgar makes his first foray on the turf

This race is likely to be a showdown between Eminent Hipster and SIR EDWARD ELGAR — and preference must go the way of the latter.

He made a respectable seasonal reappearance at Lingfield earlier this month, finishing third of 11, so expect to him improve on that showing.

John and Thady Gosden's colt broke his maiden over this distance on the AW at Lingfield back in January. This will be his first start on turf and he could be a much better horse on this surface.

LiveScore Selection: Sir Edward Elgar

7.25pm - Free Tips On atheraces.com Handicap (1m3f)

C'MON KENNY is a former National Hunt bumper winner and he prevailed for the first time on the Flat at Sandown (1m2f) earlier this month.

The extra distance in that race clearly helped. And given his background, this new trip of 1m 3f will not be a problem.

Ian Williams' gelding has escaped a penalty so he can take advantage of that on this quick reappearance with a second straight success.

LiveScore Selection: C'Mon Kenny

7.55pm - Silk Series Handicap (5f)

With 59 races under his belt, there are not any more experienced horses in this race than JUST GLAMROROUS

He showed he still has all his enthusiasm for racing two runs ago when he prevailed over this distance at Salisbury.

Christopher Mason's sprinter is now rated 5lb higher than his last success but Gina Mangan will take 7lb back for this ride.

He is effectively well in at the weights so another victory can come this horse's way.
