A busy Premier League midweek continues on Wednesday with four fixtures taking place.

There is a potentially decisive contest for relegation-threatened Leeds as they welcome old rivals Chelsea to Elland Road.

Elsewhere, Everton's trip to Watford could have huge ramifications in the battle to stay up.

Leeds vs Chelsea predictions

Leeds slipped into the relegation zone for the first time since October following Sunday's 2-1 loss at Arsenal, with Jesse Marsch's side having now failed to win any of their last three games.

There is also a depleted look to the Whites' squad, with experienced defender Luke Ayling's suspension meaning he joins the likes of Stuart Dallas and Patrick Bamford on the sidelines.

Chelsea's form is also poor and after a three-game winless run, their focus may well be on this weekend's FA Cup final against Liverpool.

However, Thomas Tuchel's side still need a few more points to confirm a third-place finish, so expect renewed focus from the Blues when they head to Elland Road.

History certainly suggests Chelsea should be good value to claim all three points as they are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Leeds, winning five of those clashes.

Their last defeat to the Whites came more than 19 years ago in December 2002.

Leicester vs Norwich predictions

It is fair to say both Leicester and Norwich are desperate for the season to end.

The Foxes' Europa Conference League run came to a halt in Rome last week and the Canaries' relegation from the Premier League was finally confirmed at the end of April.

Both sides are in poor form, with Leicester having gone seven matches without a win in all competitions, losing the last three, while Norwich have lost four on the bounce.

Something will have to give on Wednesday and Leicester will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways as they have won four of their last six meetings with Norwich.

Despite an underwhelming season domestically, Brendan Rodgers' side are also hard to beat at home, losing just one of their last 11 fixtures at the King Power Stadium.

That is a run they will be confident of extending when Norwich head to town, as no team has picked up fewer away points than the Canaries in the top flight this season.

Watford vs Everton predictions

Watford's relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last weekend following their 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.

That was their sixth loss on the bounce and eighth across their last nine games.

With boss Roy Hodgson confirming he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, the Hornets have very little to play for bar pride as they bid to avoid a 12th consecutive home defeat.

But the same cannot be said for opponents Everton, who have boosted their survival hopes following back-to-back wins over Chelsea and Leicester.

The latter of those successes was the Toffees' first away win in the league since August and they will be hopeful of making it back-to-back successes on their travels, given they won on their last visit to Vicarage Road in February 2020.

Goals could also be on the agenda in this one with the last two meetings between the pair having seen a combined 12 goals.

Everton have won three of the last four clashes and look good value to boost their survival hopes further with another victory.

But Watford have netted in three of their last four games and will expect to get on the scoresheet once again.
